🌲 A Friendly Reminder: Keep an Eye on Your Trees 🌲

Hi Waterside Neighbors,
We've had quite a bit of rain lately, and with the extra moisture and recent pine beetle activity, we've seen an increase in falling dead pine trees—particularly the ones already weakened or affected by beetles.
Over the past month a couple of these trees fell and blocked the road, causing a bit of a traffic jam and leaving a few folks stuck in their cars. Thankfully, our groundskeeper was able to clear it quickly, but it served as a good reminder for all of us:
👉 Please take a look around your property for any visibly dead or weak leaning trees, especially those near the front yard or close to the road.
👉 If you spot any, we ask that you have them safely removed as soon as possible.
👉 If the tree is in the back or side yard, and it can be safely dropped into the woods—that's perfectly fine.
👉 However, if it falls in the front yard or across the road, it will be the homeowner’s responsibility to have it removed promptly.
We’ll be sending out notices and follow-up reminders to help ensure everyone stays ahead of this and keeps their property—and our roads—safe and clear. Our goal is to prevent accidents before they happen while keeping Waterside looking great!
Also, a friendly reminder that all trash cans must be hidden from view and are not allowed to be seen from the road at any time other than trash day.
As always, thanks for being proactive and helping us maintain the beauty and safety of our neighborhood.
Stay dry and tree-aware! 🌧️🌳
